Michelle Rembert, MS,PT, RYT200


Michelle received her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University and has been a Licensed Physical Therapist for 18 years. She recently completed her RYT 200 training at the băl•anced breath school of Yoga through Yoga Alliance. Through her work as a Physical Therapist she has learned a great deal about the physical body and the benefits of exercise for maintaining flexibility, strength and endurance. It was not until her yoga journey began, did she become fully aware of the connection of movement with breath allowing the practice to become mindful. She loves being able to merge western science with eastern understanding of body, mind, and soul. She believes that the one true benefit of yoga comes from taking the experience off the mat and into our life where it shows up in self-compassion, loving kindness, and overall sense of well-being. Michelle has experience working with all ages and abilities. She feels that yoga and mindfulness can and should be accessible to everybody and every body.
